The 4th grade class has been learning about hurricanes and were honored today to have retired national guard General Gary Jones give them a first hand account of what it was like serving in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina.




Our first graders are celebrating 101 Days of School by dressing up as Dalmatians and watching 101 Dalmatians.

CCS is offering heart screenings, which includes EKG, for individuals aged 10 and above on February 14th. The screening fee is $20 for students and $35 for CCS faculty members. If you are a student, please email ccsoffice@claibornechristian.org to receive the link. CCS faculty members will pay $35 upon arrival. If you registered for the previous date that was postponed, you will still be able to complete the screening on the new date.

These students have been selected to represent CCS at the District Literary Rally on February 24 at LA Tech. They will compete against schools in our region in academic subjects for a chance to advance to the State Literary Rally at LSU in March. #excellence #thecrusaderway

The basketball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

We are excited to announce the winners of our recent Spelling Bee competition. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the following students for their exceptional performance: Ryder Brown, a 6th grader, secured the first position, while Beckett Watson, a 4th grader, came in second place. Sadie Cupp, a 7th grader, received the third position. We are proud of all the participants for their hard work and dedication.


Tomorrow, on Friday, January 19th, our school will be resuming in-person classes.
